This jacket is part of the first REGULATION collection, launched by Yohji Yamamoto for Spring/Summer 2013. The name “REGULATION” evokes ideas of control, direction, and discipline: key themes behind this new line inspired by the concept of uniform.

Mr. Yamamoto, long fascinated by uniforms from military garments to pieces rooted in his early life, reimagines them in a way that feels both personal and desirable. The collection embraces a raw, straightforward aesthetic, reflected in its label: the word “REGULATION” boldly stamped over the classic Yohji Yamamoto signature.
